Full DayKing Penguin Park

We start the pick up between 07.00- 07.30 am. Then we go to take the ferry to cross the Magellan Strait which takes 2 hours. We get to Bahía Chilota at 11 am and in about 10 minutes we get to Porvenir (one of the southern most cities in Patagonia).

Later we´ll visit a small square called “Plaza Selknam” to take some pictures. Finally in Porvenir we go to a small and cheap restaurant whose price is about $12.000 p/p. We continue our trip on our way to the King Penguin Park (about 80 minutes) located on Bahía Inútil shore. We stay here for 1 hour so that you can enjoy and take pictures of these birds.

On our way back to the ferry we might visit a very small location called Cerro Sombrero (town built for the National Oil Company Workers) only if not windy. Once on the ferry back to the continent (20 minutes crossing) we start our way back to Punta Arenas. On our way back we’ll have one last stop over at San Gregorio Estancia. Our arrival in Punta Arenas is about (09.00 pm at the latest).
