Punta Arenas
We depart from Punta Arenas which is 247 km away from our first stopover in Puerto Natales. We stop at Costanera to take some pictures and then we go to the Cueva del Milodon Natural Monument, located 22 km away from Puerto Natales. Once in this place we take a 30 minutes’ walk to visit the cave (round walk).
On our way to the park we´ll see Lago Sarmiento, Laguna Amarga and Cascada Paine. Once inside the park we´ll see Lago Nordenskjold, Lago Pehoe, and finally we´ll go to Pingo area to reach the shore of Lago Grey where we can see some icebergs of the Grey glacier. This last spot takes 1 hour walk (round walk) to finally return to Puerto Natales and then Punta Arenas about 09.00 pm (at the latest).
